Agnette dP Peralta, MSc

Prof. Peralta is a Professorial Lecturer in the Master of Science in Applied Physics (Medical Physics) Program at the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School. She obtained her Master of Science in Medical Physics degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA, and her Bachelor of Science (Physics) degree from the University of the Philippines. She was the founding president of the Philippine Organization of Medical Physicists, now known as the Society of Medical Physicists in the Republic of the Philippines, and was also the president for two years of the South East Asian Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics.   From  1991 to 2016, she served as Director of the Radiation Health Service which later became the Center for Device Regulation, Radiation Health, and Research of the Food and Drug Administration.  She retired from the Department of Health as an Assistant Secretary of Health in October 2017.
